Ne jau man, bet blogam! Tieši pirms gada uzsāku veidot šo blogu. 

Not for me, but for blog! I started it a year ago.

 

Sākotnēji šeit ievietoju tikai savus darbus, tad jau arī rakstus par un ap tamborēšanu un pamācības. Gribētos sasniegt to, ka šis ir viens no interesantākajiem tamborblogiem Latvijā, kā arī tiktu ievērots ārvalstīs. Soli pa solītim uz to eju. :)
Initially I placed here only my works, then also articles about crochet and tutorials. I would love to achieve that this blog is one of the most interesting crochet blogs in Latvia, and also would be noticed in foreign countries. I am going for it step by step. :)
 
Cenšos uzlabot bilžu kvalitāti - lielus priekšmetus vēl aizvien grūti nobildēt bez attiecīga modeļa. Kopš vakardienas man ir glābiņš - manekens, par ko esmu ļoti priecīga. Cerams, ka tagad apģērbu fotografēšana nesagādās tik lielus izaicinājumus :) Tā ir tikai viena dāvana, ko sev uzdāvināju bloga dzimšanas dienā :) Otra ir - Etimo tamboradata. Un es jau esmu iemīlējusies tajā - kaut kas tik patīkams sen nav baudīts. Un nav brīnums, ka tās tiek uzskatītas par labākajām tamboradatām pasaulē! Manas rokas gavilē!
I also am trying to improve the quality of photos - it is still hard to shoot large items without a model. I have a solution since yesterday - a mannequin, I'm so glad I have it. I hope now taking pictures of wearables wont be so challenging :) This is only one gift I gave to myself at blogs birthday. The second is Etimo hook. And I'm in love with it already - haven't felt something so likeable for a long time. And it's no wonder - those hooks are considered to be worlds top hooks! My hands are cheering!

Coral flower earrings by Eleven - free pattern

Part 1:
Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *3 dc in the same st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.
You can continue with round 3 or skip it and turn to Part 2.
Round 3: Ch 1 to count as the first sc, work * 2 sc in the same st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

 

Part 2:
Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3.

I made this order slowly in about one and a half month. I made the first part slowly, and the second - lace part - very quickly.

I am very satisfied with the result and I hope that client will also like it as much as I do. :)

Motīvu savienošana / Joining motifs

Pienācis laiks ievietot kaut ko jaunu sadaļā Pamācības.

It is time to add something new in Tutorials section.

Šoreiz pastāstīšu, kā uzreiz, tamborējot pēdējo rindu, savienot motīvus.
Pirmo motīvu tamborējam visu līdz galam (redzams labajā pusē).
Nākamo (otro) motīvu pie pirmā pietamborē pēdējā rindā.
Visvieglāk ar "pēdējās rindas paņēmienu" satamborēt motīvus, kam pēdējā rindā ir gaisa cilpiņu pīnītes.
 

This time I will tell how to join motifs straight away in the last row.

Crochet the first motif as it is till the end (on the right side).

Crochet the next (second) motif to the first one in the last row.

It is easier to join motifs this way with chain loops on the last row.

Visvienkāršāk to izdarīt, lietojot īsos stabiņus.

Ja pēdējā rindā jātamborē 5 gaisa cilpiņu pīnīte, iztamborējiet 2 gaisa cilpiņas, tad virziet tamboradatu zem pirmā motīva cilpiņu ķēdes, iztamborējiet savienojuma stabiņu vai īso stabiņu. Tad atkal 2 gaisa cilpiņas un ar īso stabiņu pievienojiet tās pie otrā motīva pēdējās rindas.

 

The easiest way to do it is using single crochet stitches.

If there is ch 5 in the last row, you work ch 2, then let the hook go under the first motifs chain loop, and make sl st or sc. Then work ch 2 and make sc on the second motifs' last row.

Ja motīva pēdējo rindu vietā, kur jānotiek savienošanai, veido stabiņi ar apmetumu - savienojot jāaizķer aiz otra motīva stabiņu cilpas (zem ķēdītes).

Notamborējiet tik stabiņu, cik nepieciešams, līdz savienojuma vietai. Izvelciet tamboradatu. Ieduriet to pirmā motīva stabiņā un aizķeriet atstāto cilpu. 

Izdariet apmetumu un turpiniet tamborēt stabiņus otra motīva pēdējā rindā.

If the last row of the motif consists of double crochet stitches (in the place where the attachmend should be done) - you should go through the other motifs stitch loops.

Make as much stitches as you need to go till the place where the join should be made. Put the hook aside. Stitch it in the first motifs' stitch and go through the loop you left.

Yarn over and continue to work stitches in the second motifs' last row.

Svētki un mācīšana / Public holiday and teaching

Sveiciens visiem,

Šodien ir Latvijas Neatkarības Proklamēšanas diena! Mēs svinam. Daudz laimes dzimšanas dienā, Latvija! Es nerunāšu par vēsturi, bet, ja jums interesē, varat apmeklēt Latvijas Institūta mājas lapu un uzzināt vairāk.

Vakar biju iepirkt dzijas un biju nedaudz pārsteigta, ieraugot, ka dziju veikalā bija daudz vairāk cilvēku, nekā tas ir parasti. Bet tad atcerējos, ka ir taču četras brīvas dienas un laiks sāk palikt aukstāks. Vakar vakarā pat sniga. Tad nu tas viss savilkās kopā. Man prieks, ka cilvēki kopj tradīcijas un paši ada un tamborē. :)

Bet tiem, kam vajadzīga nedaudz palīdzība tamborēšanā - man ir labas ziņas! Es jau rakstīju, ka kursi atsāksies 22. novembrī. Mazliet pastāstīšu par savu mācīšanas stilu. Mans mērķis ir likt jums domāt un saprast, ko jūs darāt. Ne tikai sekot tehniskajiem zīmējumiem vai aprakstiem, bet saprast kas no kā rodas un kāpēc. Un šo stilu es piekopju arī rakstot aprakstus saviem darbiem. Es uzskatu, ka cilvēks iegūst un iemācās daudz vairāk, saprotot, kāpēc tas ir tā un ne savādāk. Un tas arī ir vienkāršākais veids, kā pašiem kļūt par dizaineriem - saprotot, kas no kā veidojas, līdz ar to jūs ne tikai izpildāt gatavus aprakstus un shēmas, bet varat radīt paši savus. Tā es to redzu! Un tas ir ļoti labi darbojies līdz šim un esmu pārliecināta, ka turpinās darboties tik pat labi!

It is Proclamation day of Latvias' Independence today! So we are celebrating. Happy birthday Latvia! 

I'm not gonna talk about history, but if you're interested you can visit Latvian Institute page and find out more.

Yesterday I went yarn-shopping and was quite surprised at first. There were more people at yarn shop than usually. But then I remembered - there will be four free days and the weather is getting colder. It was even snowing a bit yesterday evening. So it all came together. I'm glad that people remember traditions and are knitting and crocheting themselves :) 

But for those who need help with crocheting - I have good news. I already wrote that crochet courses will re-start on 22nd November. I'm gonna tell a bit more about my teaching style. My aim is to make you to think and understand what you are doing. Not only follow ready patterns, but gain understanding of how it is created and why it is that way. And I also prefer that style when writting my patterns. I think a person gets and learns more when she/he understands why it is that way and not another way. And it is also the easiest way to becoming desiger yourself - when you understand things and can not only follow ready patterns, but also create your own. So that's how I see it! And it has worked very good before and I'm sure it will continue to work as well!

Šalle 3 stundās / 3-hour scarf

Ja Tev nepieciešams jauns aksesuārs un ir mazliet brīva laika - piedāvāju uztaisīšanai šādu šalli!
Atradu divus kamolus (2 x 50 g) Ogres pusvilnas (30% vilna, 70% akrils) un sagribējās aši kaut ko uztaisīt. Tā nu es uztamborēju trijstūrveida šalli - gandrīz tādu kā ŠO. Izmantoju 4,5 mm tamboradatu.

If you need new accessorie and have some free time - I can offer you to make this scarf!

I found two skeins (2 x 50 g) of Ogre yarn (30% wool, 70% acrylic) and wanted to make something quick. So I made a triangle scarf almost like THIS ONE. I used 4,5 mm/7 hook.

Tops / Puff-stitch top

Ir tik forši uzsākt nedēļu ar kaut ko pabeigtu un jaunu, vai ne? Tātad šis ir tas, pie kā esmu strādājusi pēdējās nedēļas. Dizains mazliet pamainījās, bet es domāju, ka rezultāts vienalga ir foršs.

It is so nice to start a week with something finished and new, isn't it? So this is what I came up during past weeks. The design changed a bit, but I think the result is cool anyway. 

Šim tamborētajam topam es izmantoju "kūlīšus". Pleca līnijās ir savilkumi, un arī apakšmala mazliet savelk topu. Siluets ir brīvs un vienkāršs.

This top is crocheted using puff-stitches. The shoulder lines are gathered (or tightened - dunno the word), and also the lower edge tightens the top. The silhouette is free and simple.

Šim modelim izmantoju Red Heart dziju "Carla" (50 g/140 m). 55% kokvilna, 45% akrils. Lietoju 4,5 mm tamboradatu.

Kā jau varat redzēt, es tomēr esmu bijusi sliņķe... (rakstīšanas ziņā, ne tamborēšanas)... :) bet tas nenozīmē, ka man nav, ko jums parādīt. Tiklīdz bildes būs gatavas - es apsolos, ka būs jauni ieraksti :)

Bet pagaidām - ar lepnumu atklāju jaunu sadaļu savā blogā - Galerija. Hi in November,

As you can see, I have been lazy (for blogging, not for crocheting)...  :) but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to show you. As soon as the pictures will be ready - I promise there will be new posts :) 

But for now - I am proud to present you the new section on the blog - Gallery. How come I didn't make it earlier, I wonder... So now it's on - with my previous works... and there are more to come in the near future. I think it's pretty nice to see some part of my works all together. So - enjoy! I hope you like it! :)
