The Māls Clay Sweater was first published in my book "Crochet Sweaters with a Textured Twist", (Page Street Publishing, USA, 2023).
Throughout history and around the world, people have developed the art of forming clay to make ceramic objects, or pottery. Just as clay becomes art in a potter’s hands, the Māls Sweater gives you the feeling of sculpting and molding the textured stitches into a fiber masterpiece. The vertical bars and post stitch diagonals form an intricate yoke that balances with repetitive post stitch lines on the body.
